The UK’s leading SMS provider for the NHS, FireText, has become a third-party integration for the digital patient communication platform, Wellola.

The two platforms have partnered to further reduce time and cost strains on clinical practices, with Wellola extending its handy features - from appointment reminders for patients to secure video consultation links - out to patients via SMS.
As the top-rated SMS platform used by the NHS and UK Government, FireText is a cloud-based platform where users can create large-scale communication campaigns, appointment reminders or instant test results for patients.
Speaking of the new partnership, Co-founder of FireText, James Huff, said:
We are delighted to partner with Wellola. We’ll be providing their NHS customers with access to the FireText NHS SMS Gateway. The Wellola team clearly have an excellent doctor-patient communication platform, both for healthcare providers and patients. Using the FireText NHS SMS Gateway will help enhance Wellola’s offering for NHS customers. We look forward to continuing to work closely with Sonia and her team going forwards.
